Cat City evacuees in need of "forever homes"
Pets

Firefighters made sure they survived unscathed. But the 11 cats who were evacuated to Lynnwood PAWS still need permanent homes.

Sophie, above, is a 10 year-old domestic long hair who has been at PAWS Cat City since May. She was surrendered when her owner died and has become a staff and volunteer favorite. They hope to find her a home where she is an only cat and can have a window to monitor the goings on of her neighborhood.

The lynx point Siamese (below) is Kayla. She’s a 6 year-old female that came to PAWS Cat City as a stray in September. She had a large wound under her arm where an old collar had become stuck. Now that her wound has healed, she’s a companionable animal ready for adoption.

For information on these and other Cat City cats, call Molly Reagan at PAWS 425-412-4032. Photos courtesy of PAWS.
