Greenwood's Cat City relocates to U-District
Pets

Greenwood's loss is the University District's gain for cat lovers. After 13 years in Greenwood, PAWS Cat City opens Jan. 13 in its new U-District home.

The feline adoption center announced in November it would be leaving its Greenwood home for a new larger space. Its last day in its old location was Dec. 26.

Cat City can now be found at 5200 Roosevelt Way N.E.

From PAWS Cat City:

The cats have unpacked and forwarded their mail, now they’d like nothing better than have you stop by and check out their new pad!

Our new location is a “colony” cat adoption center. Instead of cages, cats and kittens live in open rooms, where they’re free to lounge or roam to their hearts content! Not only is this the best way for cats to live, it also gives potential adopters the opportunity to play with our feline friends and get a sense of each animals personality before adopting.

For more than 13 years, Cat City made its home in the Greenwood neighborhood of Seattle. While we’re sad to leave, the new University District location offers lots of parking, a bigger space and easy access to I-5 and 520.
