Kindling for Greenwood arson included addressed envelopes

BREAKING: Neighbors of an arson that burned the back porch of a Greenwood accounting office were so quick to the scene that they discovered some of the paper used to start the fire, according to KOMO's Bryan Johnson, who is working on the story.

They found envelopes with a name and address.  Those were turned over to police.

The fire, at N 84th and Greenwood Ave N. at 4:11 a.m., was outside the structures in a 3-foot gap between two buildings, but did not go into the interior. Damage is estimated at $20,000.

It is one of two fires that occured in Greenwood this morning. Investigators believe both are arson.

Well, I hope the name and addy on the envelopes will help lead to the arsonist, but sadly, I doubt they will.

This seriously needs to stop.
